Wow. I’m just blown away that 12 weeks have passed. When you think about it, 12 weeks is really such a short time. I’ve been thinking about bootcamp ending for about two weeks now. I’m sad to see it end but am truly amazed by what I’ve learned!
I’ve learned about nutrition and have kicked my mindless eating habit in addition to the evil relationship with that two-timer Sugar.
I’ve learned about fitness and have mastered the Superman! (I can now hold that darn position for 1 minute and 22 seconds!) I can do the “L-wall thing” like a pro. I reckon to say I look almost as graceful as Robin when I do it! Ok, maybe not THAT good.
I somehow managed to pass my goal weight. I wanted to lose ten pounds and as of our last weigh-in on Monday, I am down 15 pounds! I’m at a happy place and can rock those goal jeans I posted about.
That’s all awesome stuff but the truly mind blowing stuff is that I’ve learned SO much about myself and that I developed some really cool friendships via a computer!
With the help of all of you, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zones. I visited and joined a Crossfit Box. I’ve learned that failure is not a bad thing. I’ve learned to adjust my negative thinking to a very positive mindset. I’ve learned about each of you, shared some laughter and struggles.
I’m ending this experience with so much more than I ever thought possible. All because I read Janetha’s blog. Go figure. One random connection had this impact on me as a person. Life is pretty darn cool and so is the Fitmixer Team! You all made this experience such a valuable one for each of us and you made it fun. Thank you does not seem to encompass all that I feel right now but for lack of a better expression, Thank You Candace, Alicia and Robin! Each of you shared part of yourself with us and that has truly been a key factor in making the Fitmixer Bootcamp such a freaking amazing experience!
Hugs to all of you!
