I signed up for the fitmixer Boot Camp because I already needed some more protein and thought the Boot Camp was a good deal since we were getting product, too. As the Boot Camp came to an end, I have realized how valuable it was for me to bust me out of my rut and I’m so glad I was a part of it.
What I liked most was the Facebook group and the workouts themselves. I had gone into the bootcamp with an inflated ego, thinking that I could master these workouts. Robin really got me back down to earth and made me realize there are always things I can improve on, fitness and health-wise. The majority of the workouts were hard work and left me tired, but accomplished. I also learned some new exercises that I will be implementing in the future. I liked that it was body weight only and we didn’t have to go buy weights or resistance bands. I feel like that gives me a better workout. The only thing I didn’t like about the workouts is that sometimes they got monotonous because they were long. One in particular I can think of is the 100′s workout. It got a little boring doing 100 squats/other exercises in a row. However, workouts that required more than 2 or 3 sets got boring too. I just need a good variety.
Another thing I didn’t really like was the music during the webcasts. It was really loud and kind of distracting. But, I enjoyed the webcasts and the motivation of the Facebook group as well. Overall, the fitmixer Boot Camp was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to feel challenged in their fitness regime, receive a good variety of great-tasting products, and want to work with a great team focused on helping achieve your personal health and wellness goals.
